A weekly look at what's happening in
downtown Little Rock, Arkansas

Don't miss the third annual Barkus on Main dog parade! Presented by Hounds Lounge Pet Resort and Spa, the parade and block party are on Sunday, March 31. Join us for crawfish, gumbo, beads, beer, hurricanes, way-too-cute dogs, and more! Online registration runs all next week and day-of registration and check-in start at 12:00 p.m., all on Main Street in downtown Little Rock.

Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. announced the selection of Keith Humphrey as Little Rock's next chief of police. Humphrey, who is the current police chief in Norman, Oklahoma, will start by April 22.

Our first Alley Party is coming up in conjunction with the first SoMa After Dark. Presented by The Lasiter Group and Newmark Moses Tucker Partners, the Alley Party will be held at the Villa Vue apartments at 1300 Scott Street. We will have live music by Buh Jones, local beer, and special sneak peeks at the brand new apartments!
