Our Mission Since our early beginning in 1956, the mission at Acme Systems has been to serve our customers through the belief that we exist to serve. Our History Our story is about four generations of our family working in the family lawn sprinkler business. This extraordinary family history involving four generations is an important part of The Acme Systems Difference that sets us apart from other companies. The First Generation family member in our family business is Great Grandpa John Lynch (1914-1974), shown here with daughter Pat. The Second Generation family member is irrigation pioneer Tom Laur, SR. who was born in 1933. Third Generation family member Tom Laur, Jr. was born in 1955. Erika and Thomas Laur III are the Fourth Generation family members who worked in the company.
