A Local Weekend Getaway in Alta UT
Alta Lodge is a traditional ski-in/ski-out mountain hotel located at the base of Alta Ski Area. During winter season lodging includes full breakfast, afternoon tea, and four-course dinner. A free kids' program is great for families with young children. During the summer season, June-October, Alta Lodge serves as a mountain location for weddings, retreats and meetings. Individual lodging is available as well. Known locally for Sunday Brunch with live jazz and Saturday Lunch. Numerous hiking trails, wildflowers and wildlife bring hikers to Little Cottonwood Canyon, a short drive from the Salt Lake Vally.
