Owner, Chris Stivers, started engine repair in the early 90’s. His first vehicles, a 1974 Super Beetle and a 1970 Westy were his first projects. Quickly a passion and enthusiasm was developed for Volkswagen vehicles, especially for the engines. Chris quickly became a natural mechanically at diagnosing, repairing and modifying automobiles of any kind.  In 2003 he opened a full service mechanic shop and began building a team of some of the most qualified technicians in the automotive field. His shop is known for a shop that if you can get the vehicle there, the team will find the problem and fix it. It is a frequently challenged claim to fame in Asheville NC.
