Big Bear in the Square An independent, locally-owned café, Big Bear opened in April of 2016 in Dedham Square, Dedham's historic downtown, with three main aspirations: To serve outstanding coffee and tea drinks, to create fresh, flavorful and unique foods, and to provide friendly & knowledgeable service to every customer; all in an inviting and cozy space. Big Bear is owned by Dedham resident, Donna Menna, who, after a career working for several prominent restauranteurs, including celebrity chef, Todd English, fulfilled a long time dream of opening her own place. Donna and her fantastic staff work daily to get it right, by providing a welcoming atmosphere, and making every effort to ensure that every customer loves their Big Bear experience. In a short time, Big Bear has become a customer favorite, and a real part of the local community, as partner, sponsor and contributor to local fundraising events for area non-profit organizations, Dedham's schools and youth sports leagues.
