Pho is the Vietnam's Signature dish. It is so delicious that even Anthony Bourdain loves it. Pho is said to have originated in Northern Vietnam after the French colonization of the country, around 1880's. Vietnamese took the beef bones that the French chefs discarded and created a rich and flavorful broth, added rice noodle and slices of beef. This dish became known as Pho.
