"Pragmatic self-defense through traditional martial arts training. Since 1999,The Columbus Dojo has been the leader in traditional martial arts, and karate for Columbus, Georgia and our surrounding communities. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to preserve the cultural heritage of Okinawa through community outreach, workshops, and classes. We offer instruction in Okinawan Karate, Wu Zu Quan, and Japanese language. Columbus Dojo is the appointed North American headquarters for Goshukan-Ryu Karate of Okinawa-Japan The Columbus Dojo supports and partners with the Atlanta Okinawa Kenjin Kai; we demonstrate karate and participate in Taiko performances at various events, including the annual JapanFest in Atlanta, Georgia."
