We believe in creating a healing and learning environment in which people can find respite from the stress of their lives. In this environment,there is acceptance to face problems, learn new skills, heal losses, resolve conflict and meet the challenges of change~ I'd like to introduce you to our private practice, specializing in helping families resolve conflict in a healing and learning environment that promotes harmony and growth. I have been Director of the practice for 27 years and derive much satisfaction in helping facilitate and guide couples and families to improved, fulfilling relationships. I especially enjoy helping women and men lay aside their anger and hurt and become cooperative partners in a well-functioning team. We emphasize developing respectful communication patterns and dissolving bitterness and defensiveness. Spouses move from blaming each other to accepting their part in the conflict, thereby changing their negative position, to neutral and, eventually, to more positive interactions. Children benefit greatly when their parents become team players who can clearly explain the rules, rewards and consequences in the discipline plan. With greater structure and cooperation, families transform the chaotic activity of conflict to a smooth, harmonious and satisfied family unit.
