The Freckled Door

Hello! I’m Christy, just a girl with a dream and a love of Mexican food! In 2013, with three small boys and the desire to be a stay-at-home mom and yet still indulge in twice weekly meals at LaCarreta in Seward, I started The Freckled Door. My original goal was to make 5-8 signs a month. Today, I make 60 signs per week and hold frequent Freckled Door events, such as painting parties and girls’ nights out! I am also officially licensed with the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers, which brings an added dimension to my business. God is good!
