John Weston has worked on over 7500 recording sessions as a recording engineer and music producer, including major artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Philip Glass, Beyoncé, Shakira, and P Diddy. In 2007, he earned a platinum award and was nominated for the Latin Grammy Record of the Year for his work with Beyonce and Shakira on the song "Beautiful Liar". In 2014 he recorded cellist YoYo Ma on the Grammy winning song "New York Tendaberry". He has also recorded for numerous film scores, including the 2002 Miramax film Naqoyqatsi, the 2010 Emmy nominated Mosque in Morgantown, and the Ken Burns WWII documentary The War. In 2014, Mr. Weston recorded Yo-Yo Ma for the animated film of Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet. Mr. Weston has also recorded and mixed music for many video games, including Remember Me (featuring the London Philharmonia), Alone in the Dark (featuring Le Mystere Des Voix Bulgares), and Final Fantasy XV (featuring the Video Game Orchestra).
