Plaster walls, fireplace bricks, tiles do occasionally crack and chip off because of aging, improper manufacturing or initial installation. We do surface plaster patch, will use mortar sealant for bricks, but we won't paint the walls, replace tiles or bricks. If baseboard removal is required to avoid drywall cutting, the baseboards might crack because: oversized gauge nails use, part of baseboard was covered by new hardwood floor (carpet was replaced with hardwood without removing baseboards), wooden baseboard dried out. In case of the crack, we will glue wooden baseboards and caulk with paintable acrylic caulking over painted baseboards. We do not paint or replace baseboards. Replacement is possible, but extra.
