Established in 2010.Izby is not only our store, it is the full circle of our lives as we have become vintage, but hopefully, not antiques. In 1971, a very quiet young man, and a very gabby but proper young lady dated for about 9 months. As so often happens at that age, the distance between colleges cooled the flames of young love and all contact between the two was lost for nearly 40 years. A serendipity meeting at my family's business, Hamby Catering reunited us, and this time my husband did not let me slip away. So you see my husband is "Tradition" and I, am "Whimsy". The combination our last names Izard and Hamby results in "Izby". That is a whole lot better than "Hamard" ("hammered") don't you agree?
