A Photographer in Brighton CO

I began in photography in 1964 at age 9 with the gift of a Zeiss Ikon Box-Tengor camera and it wasn't long before I was developing rolls of film in my own home-based darkroom and creating my own prints and enlargements. For anyone that has experienced the pungent, distinctive aroma of the darkroom, you'll know what I mean. I began photographing weddings on film in 1972 and have worked selling cameras and photographic equipment through various camera and department stores in Denver. I developed infrared scanning equipment and a high-speed industrial camera system used to visually inspect rolling aluminum that was patented, marketed and installed in multiple manufacturing plants worldwide by Coors and Lauener Engineering of Thun, Switzerland. Desiring to give back to the community, I teach Basic and advanced photography skills to local photographers through various internships, workshops and events offered through a meetup.com group named "Brighton Photographers"
