What is it about a great photograph that takes your breath away? For me, I want my pictures to do more than remind you of what you and your family look like this year. I want my photography to spark emotion, much like certain scents recall a fond memory. When you look back in your album and see that photograph of your husband holding his week old baby girl, I want you to relive the feelings and emotions of what life was like with a newborn. Life goes by so quickly- if you have children I don't have to remind you of that. I feel like I blinked and my oldest is suddenly eleven! Life goes by too quickly to wait until your kids' braces come off or until we've lost the last (or first) 10 pounds. I know I can relate, but life is now. Children, no life, changes so quickly. I say life is worth capturing right now.
