Located between D.C., Annapolis, and Baltimore, our 100,000 square foot facility provides exclusive service to the professional residential builder and remodeler in Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and the Eastern Shore. We offer windows, doors, moulding, columns, stairs, railing, kitchen cabinets, cornice, and more, all complimented by our state-of-the-art production shop and showroom. We partner with the brands both you and your customer recognize as industry leaders for performance and value. In the early 1930s, William Russell Lamar, Sr. and William Wallace, Sr., were working together at Barber & Ross Company, Inc. The pair decided to strike out on their own, and in 1935 they founded Lamar & Wallace, Inc. on New York Ave. in Washington, D.C. Eventually, their sons, Russell Lamar, Jr. and Bill Wallace, Jr., took over the business. The company continued to thrive, and so in 1963 Lamar & Wallace moved to a larger space in Landover, Md., where it is still located today. Upon retirement, Bill Wallace, Jr. sold his part of the company to Russell Lamar, Jr. Rusty Lamar took the reigns from his dad in the early 1990s and is the company’s current president. Lamar & Wallace is in its ninth decade of millwork excellence with a third-generation owner.
