Maui Tropix is Maui's original homegrown surf company and the local favorite. In 1977, 15 year old Louie Martin shaped a board for himself in his mom's backyard in Kihei on Maui's south shore. That day would lead to over 40 years of surfing, shaping, and producing in the surf industry. Today, Maui Tropix Surf Co. and it's exclusive brands and products are recognized and respected worldwide.
