Mely worked as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Physical Therapy Aide for over 10 years before studying with, Master Trainer Rael Isacowicz in 2003. Mely worked at several Pilates Studios from Irvine to Hermosa Beach, CA before opening MD Pilates in January of 2005, formerly known as HB Pilates, which opened its doors in 2003. Mely managed HB PIlates and also taught there for 2 years prior to ownership. Not many PIlates Instructors locally can say that they also have a BA in Kinesiology from CSULB (2001). We are the only PIlates and GYROTONIC (R) Studio in Huntington Beach. All 3 of our instructors are both Pilates (Body, Arts, and Sciences International and Long Beach Dance Conditioning Certified and have studied GYROTONIC(R) under Orange County Master Trainer, Donna Place. We are a very mellow and peaceful studio. We were the original Pilates Studio in Huntington Beach that made Pilates affordable for everyone by offering Group Reformer
