Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman's provides delicious food that is handcrafted by Peter Merriman, the co-founder of Hawaiian Regional Cuisine. Featuring a unique atmosphere, live music, Maui grown ingredients to support the local community, and a creative and delicious choice of beverage from unique cocktails to hand selected wine, Monkeypod is the place where families, foodies and friends come to party. The name of the restaurant is a type of tree that was imported to Hawaii. This non-native tree flourishes. It gives back by providing shade, green grass beneath its canopy and wood for handcrafted bowls and furniture. Our goal is to give back by being ecologically friendly while offering a fun, yet high quality experience.
