Mother's Brewing Company was founded in 2010, when owner and carouser-in-cheif Jeff Schrag began his march to bringing craft brews to Springfield, Missouri. He bought the old Butternut Bread bakery building, and with a little help, the bakery became a brewery in just under a year. Doors opened to the public on May 14, 2011, and we've been going ever since. We're on a mission to create beers people will love, establishing a successful brewery that lets us give back to our co-workers and community. Along the way, the core values our own mothers instilled, coupled with our passion for great beers, will let us share as much love per barrel as we possibly can.
