Nana is a family-owned restaurant offering choices for those who are not only passionate about great tasting food, but who are also passionate about where their food comes from. Since we opened in August 2009, we have been committed to sourcing products free of synthetic preservatives, growth hormones, genetically modified ingredients, antibiotics, artificial colors and flavors and other additives and chemicals, including pesticides. We support the ethical treatment of animals, promote sustainability and buy local whenever possible.In 2017 we celebrated 8 wonderful years here in Bridgeport. The year brought many blessings and accomplishments, including yet another Bib Gourmand recognition from the Michelin Guide, we expanded our delivery partners to make our food more accessible for you, we engaged more local growers to keep our buying power closer to home, we participated in our first farmers market here in the neighborhood (the Sunday City Market at 35th Street & Morgan), we introduced a weekly Chef’s Tasting Menu every Thursday, brought back our weekly Sunday Supper due to popular demand, expanded our retail offering and composted over 12,000 pounds of food waste!
