Naung Mai Thai Kitchen specializes in delectable Thai cuisine & we offer numerous vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free choices as well, including a vegan dessert. Many of our dishes can be tailored to satisfy your special dietary preferences. We are known in Hilo for our "Family Style" dining experience. To suit the majority of our patrons our preparations are tailored to the local & American palette, but if you are looking for something more authentic, exotic or "Thai HOT" style, please let our chefs know, born & raised in Thailand, they will prepare your meal accordingly. What sets Naung Mai Thai Kitchen apart from most Thai restaurants in the United States is our location in the tropics. Hawaii is positioned at the same latitude as many regions of Thailand, our unique location allows us to grow many of the "secret" Thai herbs, spices & produce on our farms here in Hilo. We strive to serve the freshest ingredients available, choosing from natural & organic whenever possible.
