Founded in 1930, the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest chambers on Long Island. With over 250 members, the Chamber works with business, community and government representatives and individual residents who care about preserving and enhancing the unique qualities that make Port Washington so special. Improving and enhancing Port’s waterfront areas has been a priority for the Chamber and one on which we continue to have a major impact. One of the Chamber’s largest efforts to date has been our annual HarborFest, which focuses attention on our waterfront – its beauty, history and environmental advocacy. HarborFest also brings families to lower Main Street and the Town Dock for a day of cruises on Manhasset Bay, a craft fair, concerts, an enviro-expo, a fun park with games, activities and free family entertainment, local vendors, a fabulous food court and more!
