Star Car was founded in early 1957 and has remained in the same location for each of its 59 years in operation. Star Car has remained a local family owned business with a wide customer base which relies mainly on recommendations from our satisfied customers. Our good reputation has allowed Star Car to become a highly successful shop which proudly serves western Suffolk County. Primarily a collision shop, Star Car has maintained a good relationship with many insurance companies. Star Car has also been involved in much custom work over the years, providing the car or motorcycle enthusiast with custom fabrication and paint jobs. In addition to local work, Star Car has participated in a joint project for the television show "Car Wars" on ESPN2. In order to keep up with the newest available products and technologies, Star Car has become a constantly evolving company which strives to give its customers a top-quality repair using the best products available.
