Stephanie L. Switzer, LPC

Dr. Switzer has been a psychotherapist for more than 20 years, practicing in private practice, community mental health, partial programs, and inpatient settings. She received her master's degrees from Boston College and The University of Hartford in counseling and clinical psychology respectively, and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford, Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology.Her training also included a fellowship at Yale School of Medicine, a specialized certificate program in Traumatic Stress Studies at the Justice Resource Institute’s (JRI) Trauma Center in Boston, and training in the Newington VA’s Department of Neuropsychology and the West Haven VA Hospital’s PTSD Unit. Furthermore, she was trained in EMDR by the EMDR International Association in 2002 and Brainspotting in 2010.
