Stone Avenue Train Station

The Stone Avenue Station has been open since 1901, and is undergoing some upgrades. The passenger platforms are being extended and handicapped accesibility is being improved. Located in front of the station are bike racks, newspaper boxes and a mailbox. The station house has some nice architecture due to its age, and is located a bit outside of downtown La Grange, but has shops, salons and markets within walking distance. Service to Chicago Union Station starts at 5:21am and ends at 9:01pm. The trip takes about 39 minutes. Service to Aurora begins at 8:13am and stops at 1:08am. That trip takes about 49 minutes.
