The Travel Authority

The Travel Authority, an ALTOUR company was founded in 1970 where it was originally based in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the next 35 years, the company expanded throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Minnesota and Michigan. The Travel Authority joined the American Express Consumer Travel Network in 2005. Today, The Travel Authority is the largest American Express Travel Representative in the United States and offers a full array of services including vacation travel stores, corporate travel management, online travel, meeting and incentives, and 24/7/365 travel support center.
