After serving my time in the Marine Corps, which is where I learned how to operate heavy equipment. I worked for Boston Water and Sewer Commission as a heavy equipment operator, not long after I joined the ranks of the Boston Fire Dept. Even through all of that I was always close to the heavy construction industry and operating heavy equipment.
