Welcome to Ventures Birding Tours! Thanks for visiting our website and welcome to the incredible world of birds and nature. Whether you are a new birder, experienced, or just have a casual interest, we hope you find something that appeals to you. Our home is in the fine city of Asheville, in the forested mountains of Western North Carolina. Here we are just a short distance away from a multitude of great birding locations, including the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. We recently added “Blue Ridge Bites” lunches to our day trips, where we feature as many Asheville and WNC products as possible. From local cheeses and chutneys to in-season fruits and vegetables, this has been a huge success. Our USA program has also been changing. As well as some of our regularly offered tours, we have added long-weekend and shorter trips (4-5 days) designed to access some of the best birding in the Carolinas and the Southeastern US. With all of the international experience in our team of guides and leaders, we are adding new and exciting destinations to our yearly calendars, so if you feel adventurous, check out the new trips that we are creating in addition to our annual favorites. We are also excited to introduce a great team of guides – both young and experienced, but all keen and eager to share with you the beauty of the natural world.
