Yumi Kim

When I look back at my favorite moments to date, I always remember 2 things: where I was and what I wore. I was surrounded by extraordinary women all of my life, like my mother who wore exotic prints and bold florals, and who proudly donned the classic Ao Dai (a traditional Vietnamese dress). From these strong women, I found unyielding strength and constant inspiration. I have always believed that a woman's style is a direct expression of who she is, and in 2004 I moved to New York and adopted my sidekick, a loving & bold Yorkshire Terrier I named Yumi. It was at that moment that Yumi Kim was born.
