Zel's Del Mar

Zel's Del Mar is located in the quaint village of Olde Del Mar. It is named after the owners grandfather, a gentleman named Zel Camiel, who immigrated from Poland and found his way to Southern California by way of Cuba, Honduras and Mexico. Zel had one of the first liquor stores located in Del Mar and was a well respected member of the community. Although he passed away in 1987, his name brings soul to this local restaurant and bar and many of the guests are happy to share a story or two about Zel and the type of person he was.
