Felicia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 1984. Upon graduation, she served as an obstetric nurse in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps in the fun town of Austin, TX. Later, with a longing to travel and go out west, she came to the Denver area as a travel nurse and fell in love with skiing and hiking in the mountains. She became a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Colorado in 1996.
