A F Supply

The year was 1922. America was the land of hope for millions. The economy was booming and the American Dream was becoming a reality for young Alex Friedman. Alex ventured out on his own and started his own plumbing supply company. By 1934, with the country slipping deeper into the Great Depression, he decided to move forward and incorporated the company as A.F. Supply. Times were hard, but with undaunted spirit and hard work, the business not only persevered, but flourished. In 1946, Alex’s son, Sol, returned from the Army and re-joined the company. Father Alex and sons Sol and Joe worked hard to build the company into the dynamic and sound company that it is today. The company became a recognizable source for quality plumbing and heating supplies. They built AF Supply with dedication, hard work, and solid values. Instead of using slick marketing slogans, the Friedman Boys added value for their customers with personal service, knowledgeable consultation, and integrity. They may not have been the biggest, but they were the best.
