In 1980 the late James Cantrell of Columbus, Georgia had an idea. Why not open a business to provide residents and businesses with what was then called pre-built storage sheds, today more commonly known as portable storage buildings. Action Buildings was born! Today, nearly 40 years later, we have 8 retail locations in Columbus, Lagrange, Albany, Tifton, Phenix City, Macon and Auburn, and a large manufacturing plant in our hometown of Columbus, Georgia. To date we have delivered over 50,000 portable buildings to our customers and we’re still growing. Action goes beyond satisfaction!
