Alicia Oblander

Alicia Oblander (b. 1987) is an American portrait photographer. As a visual storyteller, she enjoys documenting the diversity of the human experience and its range of emotions. Oblander is drawn to the humble details that shape each fleeting moment. Her style is artistically candid. Oblander was born in Little Italy of Cleveland, Ohio. Her family moved to the west side, Oblander graduated from Olmsted Falls high school in 2005. In May 2009 Oblander earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Cleveland Institute of Art. While in college she explored different cultures and topics, such as transgender and women after prison. A week after graduation she booked an one way ticket to San Francisco, California
