Ana M Hernandez-Puga, MD

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Hernandez-Puga is glad to be back in her home town serving her community. She received her undergraduate degree at Florida International University and attended medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine, graduating from there in 1994. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1997. Soon after, she joined the team at Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a center for children with special health care needs. Dr. Hernandez-Puga is specialty certified in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Florida Board of Medicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is married and has two children. When not striving to keep her patients happy and healthy, she’s enjoys spending time with her family in the Keys.
