ANDY ONCALL® is a nationally franchised handyman repair service based in Chattanooga, Tennessee founded by Tom Harris in 1993 to provide handyman services to households. As a general contractor, Mr. Harris was constantly receiving repair requests, and he envisioned a system for contracting, tracking and billing for the work. What began as a means for Mr. Harris to have more freedom and flexibility in his job, conceived a business that offers homeowners the ability to call one number for almost any job they need done - from small jobs to remodels. In 1999, ANDY ONCALL® began franchising stores across the nation. Presently, there are 59 ANDY ONCALL® franchises in 21 states. ANDY ONCALL® was ranked as a Top 500 Franchise in the January 2008 edition of Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 magazine. The company was also featured on a segment of Lifetime's national daily morning show, "The Balancing Act".
