Astoria Park Eyecare is an optometry and eye urgent care center in Ditmars, Astoria, committed to providing New York City families with preventive and comprehensive eye care. Led by experienced optometrist Rajat Shetty, OD, provides routine eye exams and treatment options for common eye ailments and disorders.  Dr. Shetty graduated with his bachelor's degree in biology from Hunter's College. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. Prior to founding Astoria Park Eyecare in 2018, he worked at several optometry clinics, gaining valuable experience. Dr. Shetty is also the co-founder of LIC Vision Optometric Associates in New York City. Astoria Park Eyecare offers preventive and reactive eyecare solutions including eye exams, contacts and glasses, treatment for dry eyes and eye infections, and keratoconus treatment. If patients require eyeglasses or contact lenses, they have the convenience of many name brand frames and lenses on-site, such as Ray Ban®, Prada®, and Michael Kors®, as well as specialty lenses for astigmatism and even transitional contacts.
