Athena's Fashion boutique was founded Descember 7th, 2011. Why did I choose Fountain Square? Simple: It's well-maintained historical elements and proximity to downtown Indy combine to create a unique, artsy, eclectic vibe like no other place. At Athena's, I wanted to create a shopping experience that would mirror the location by providing women of all shapes and sizes with clothing choices outside the department store norms of fashion. My inspiration came from shopping with my sister. We love to go shopping together, but the only problem is there are only a few shops that she can find her size in. She is often very disappointed when her options end up being "plus size stores" where the styles lean more toward matronly than trendy or hip-not to mention the high price tags! What are young ladies to do when they are blessed with a curvy body? We are not all the same size or shape, and this goes for really small ladies as well. If you are not that typical small, medium or large, where do you go? What I strive to offer is sizes xsmall to 3xlarge in my hand-selected, frequently rotating inventory of on-trend clothing at affordable prices, We also offer beautiful handmade jewery from local artists like Jade Forest, Collective Hearts Swimwear and Urban Grace Fashions, most of whom are open to requests if you are looking for something specific, so don't be afraid to ask! We even have something to offer men smart enough to bring their girlfriends and wives here to shop-no more sitting idly by the dressing room trying to look interested!
