The The Bernardo Winery is the oldest operating winery in Southern California, family owned since 1927 and a hidden gem in North County San Diego. Specializing in varietals that grow well in the Southern California region the winery produces Syrah, Petite Syrah, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel to name a few reds and Viognier, Muscat and Chardonnay are among the whites. The Bernardo Winery sources and produces wine from vineyards across San Diego County. Besides the tasting room, the winery is home to the Kitchen Restaurant, a unique village of shops, a theatre, artisan galleries and coffee house.
