Bikram yoga is a 90 minute class in which the teacher guides the students through a sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises suitable for all ages. The postures will stretch and strengthen your muscles, ligaments and joints, massaging and stimulating your organs glands and nerves. Bikram yoga is performed in a heated room of approximately 105 degrees to properly warm up your muscles, in order to prevent injuries and allow you to work more deeply and safely. The heat helps cleanse toxins from the body by sweating. Regular practice results in the healing of injuries, loss of unnecessary weight, and peace of mind.
