A restaurant that specializes in famous homemade onion rings and several signature sandwiches. Our best-selling sandwich the Nutty Muffit is a double cheeseburger topped with cole slaw and mixed gourmet nuts. We are also known for our fresh, homemade pies which may be ordered in advance for holidays and events.Established in 1959.The Bishop's tradition of fine, family food started in the 1950s on Cleveland Rd north of Wooster as a small hot dog stand owned by the Bishop family. The establishment evolved into a popular drive-in restaurant known for not only great food, but also, "car hop service"that is seldom seen today. As the surrounding area developed, the property was sold to make room for an expanding neighboring business.In 2002 Bishop's was reopened near SR 57 and US 30 outside of Orrville. The people of not only Wayne County, but Northeastern Ohio were excited to see the return of Bishop's, their world famous onion rings and the Nutty Muffit and many other items. In 2009 ownership of Bishop's was transferred to it's current owner, Denise Dorsey.
