Blue Hill Radio & Appliance

Blue Hill Radio & Appliance is a local, family owned and operated third generation business in the appliance industry. Previously known as Blue Hill Radio Company, it was established in the year 1932 when William Corvetz was repairing and selling radios in Roxbury. They began selling televisions during World War II and into the 1950s. The business moved to West Roxbury in the year 1968. Refrigeration mechanic George Green, while working for Sears, purchased Blue Hill Radio Company with his family in the 1980s
