Boston Hair Design has its roots in, you guessed it… Boston, Mass. A starry eyed Annmarie first met hunky dunk Rick in 1988 while both were employed by Dellaria Salons. As time passed, they each moved into management positions and eventually became style directors. Part of this promotion included giving educational seminars and classes. After some time as style directors, they partnered with the owners of Dellaria and opened a new salon in Acton, MA.In 1993 the inevitable happened – they were finally married. After honeymooning on Kauai they (like so many others) fell in love with the island and the people. One trip wasn’t enough and in 2001, after numerous return visits, they set off on a grand new adventure – moving permanently to Kauai! Boston Hair Designs opened its doors in 2002 and has been a leader in hair styles and top-notch service since then.Rick is still Rick. And if you know him, you know what that means. Haha. Annmarie is just as kick-butt as ever and along with their team of experienced and awesome stylists, Boston Hair Design is committed to continue providing excellent service to the residents of Kauai with the perfect cut, cutting edge color, an incredible clipper design, or a breathtaking up-do for that most special of days.
