Bulldog Judo Club

Bulldog Judo Club specializes in competitive martial arts training for ages 5 and up. Jessica Merhout, the lead instructor, is a math teacher so she knows how to work well with children. The other instructor, Thomas Merhout, is hilarious and makes classes fun. He also has a more technical way of explaining techniques so the two instructors make a great team. Students learn throwing and pinning techniques (plus chokes and armbars for adults) and get a great workout! Established in 2015. Bulldog Judo Club was started in Grand Prairie because there was nowhere else close to learn competitive judo. Judo is the second most practiced sport in the world and the instructors at Bulldog Judo want to see judo continue to grow in Texas.
