Established in 1962. Nuevo León was established in 1962 and was reestablished again in 2016 as Cantón Regio. The original concept thrived for decades as an authentic, Mexican neighborhood restaurant. The original venue would be reduced to ashes after a fire burned down the business during the holiday season of 2015. Thanks to divine intervention, support of the local community and various fundraising efforts, the Gutiérrez family has been back in business since early 2016. Today, their fresh & exciting concept pays tribute to Northern Mexico's culinary traditions. Alongside his wife, his daughter and his granddaughter, Senior continues to own and operate Pilsen's premier, Mexican Steakhouse.
