My father was born in Ragusa, Sicily and had his formal training as a chef in Florence, Italy. He & my mother moved to New Jersey where I was born and began to learn the art of the trade of cooking Italian food. We opened our restaurant in Pahrump after closing our restaurant in Vegas and moving to Pahrump to have a little bit slower pace of life, like the Old Country.
