Carolina Landscape was born in 1958 when Harold Wade purchased the landscape contracting division from Carolina Floral Nursery in Berkeley County. His son, Derek, joined the company in 1991 and eventually assumed control when his father retired. Derek and his wife, Kathy, continue to operate Carolina Landscape, Inc. on beautiful James Island.
