Casanova Italian Restaurant and Deli opened its doors in 1989. The Deli serves breakfast, delicious hand made sandwiches, pastas, salads and, of course, the best Espresso drinks west of... MIlano. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and, a few nights a week, it's the place to go for late night entertainment and dancing in Upcountry Maui. Since its opening, Casanova collected more awards than we can list. Most recently it has been rated Best Italian Restaurant in the State of Hawaii by Open Table readers choice( January 2017). Just about every year, locale magazines surveys rate Casanova the Best Italian Restaurant in Maui, Best Pizza, Best Value, Best place where to dance and, to highlight its versatility, most kid friendly Restaurant in the island. On its way down from Haelakala National Park, a short detour to historic Makawao town will reward you with mingling with the local community and some outstanding Italian fare. Worth the drive!
