Welcome, I am Catherine Stapleton, Licensed Massage and Certified Bodywork Therapist! For over 30 years, my private practice has provided holistic therapeutic massage and bodywork. Your session with me integrates Eastern and Western modalities customized to meet your needs and goals. I provide sessions in my UES office or at your home. My training is extensive and advanced: Neuromuscular and Neurokinetic Therapies Myofascial Release Medical Massage Shiatsu Reflexology Reiki Aromatherapy Included in your session, I educate and empower you in your healing process with rehabilitative home exercise to enhance and maintain benefits received from sessions. I work with cliental ranging from infant to elderly and conditions/health concerns include: Stress reduction and overall balance Musculoskeletal issues Dysfunctional posture and movement patterns Scar healing, rehabilitation, pre/post surgery care Repetitive strain and other injuries Cancer, Neurological diseases and Paralysis Pregnancy, prenatal and perinatal My career also includes developing and teaching professional workshops as an independent educator in massage, reflexology, shiatsu and reiki, and course curriculum as an adjunct college professor (Pacific College of Health & Science) and on staff with Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC.
