We specialize in the unique. We scour the region looking for rough-around-the-edges rustic antiques, folk art, and fine craft. You won't find blah brown pottery here, but instead the creme-de-la-creme of local masters. Funky handmade jewelry, and brilliant blown glass. History Established in 2011. My dream was always to have a small shop that I could curate, and when the state closed the juvie prison where I had been teaching, I felt the moment had arrived to pursue my dream. Both my husband and I had been collectors of antiques, folk art, and craft, we started out by culling our own collection to fill the shop. Now my rule is if I bring something home from the shop because I have to own it, I must bring something from home to restore the balance. The shop is therefore a very personal collection of stuff I love.
